About Me

Joe Dawson a born again Christian, native of Delaware, Sussex County, a father of two girls and a grandfather of four. At the age of twelve Joe started singing in school choirs, plays and church. Joe sang in the world for 25 years and being a born again Christian is now singing for the Lord.
A U.S.Army Viet-Nam veteran of 6 years Joe served as a crew chief on a Med-Vac / Support helicoptor.
Honorably discharged in 1976.

In 2002 Joe was diagnosed with cancer and it was said that there was a good chance that he would never talk other than thru a voice box, and he would never sing again. Giving his soul to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Joe is now singing as good as ever and is cancer free and the only thing he has now is a reminder scar on his neck. GOD IS GOOD.
Joe Dawson Music Ministry is serving God and can be seen and heard at many churches and special Christian events around the area. Participating in numerious benifits, fund raisers, Joe is available for any gospel music event.
Joe writes and produces some of his own music. His first cd Shackled by Choice includes 2 songs that he wrote and is available for purchase. A second cd is soon to be released.
Joe works a full time job and is blessed with the strength to fulfill his obligation to God by using his talent and time to minister to others thru his music. In conjunction to his singing ministry he has an additional music mission called VICTORY JUNCTION / WHERE GOD & MUSIC MEET. Given to Joe by God this event brings many local Christian singers together to share their time , talents, and testimony with others.
The purpose of this ministry is to administer to those who need friends, fellowship, and to encourage those who may be lost to find comfort in the body of Christ.
Surrounded by many Christian friends and family Joe certainly has been blessed by the Grace of God. There are so many people that Joe must thank for his success and it would be impossible to thank them all. He surely acknowledges that none of this would be possible without the blessing and the anointing of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ .
All the glory goes to him.
